By now, everyone is familiar with the concept of pimping-out your car. Bigger tires, shiny rims, DVD players, ten-thousand watt digital stereo, and the list goes on.
But most people aren’t familiar with the art of pimping out your watch. In this article, we discuss four ways you can easily pimp-out your watch to make it stand out from the rest.
1. Swap out the watch strap
Perhaps the most obvious way to pimp out your watch is to replace the strap. If you’re old watch strap is boring black plastic, then consider upgrading to something like a Dark Brown Calf Padded Leather Strap or a gold-plated bracelet with folding clasp.

A new watch strap can make your watch shine, and it doesn’t need to be expensive. Generic straps often do just as well as manufacturer brand.
2. Swap out the watch dial
Other than the watch strap, which parts of the watch to people get their first reaction from? The watch dial.

Do you want an elegant and refined look? Then get a dial with roman numerals. Do you want a more sporty look? Then get a dial with standard numbers. Do you want a more modern look? Then get a watch dial with neither modern or roman numerals.
Three of our favorite watch dials are the Emka Two Tone, the Medical Watch Dial and the Franck Muller Tourbillion.
Make sure to get a watch dial that fits your watch case.
3. Swap out the watch hands
Once you’ve swapped out the watch dial, you’ll want to find a complimentary set of watch hands. A nice set of watch hands can really set your watch off, just like well-done pinstripes can really set off your vehicle.

4. Swap out the watch bezel
The watch bezel is like the hubcap of your watch. It is literally a rim that goes along the top outer-edge of your watch, creates depth and texture, and is often the extra touch that your watch needs to get a truly distinct personality.
